Mission

Museum Educators of Puget Sound (MEPS) is composed of educators from the region's many cultural, arts, historical, zoological, and scientific institutions. Our mission is to share the educational resources of our institutions with each other and the community.

As Western Washington's primary professional organization for museum educators, MEPS:

• Encompasses a geographic area including Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma and communities of the Puget Sound region
• Organizes regular meetings, networking opportunities, and professional development
• Serves as a forum to share and discuss current initiatives, ideas, and needs of the professional community

Membership

MEPS is driven and supported by members. Benefits of membership include:

• MEPS-organized events and meetings
• Discounts to MEPS-hosted professional development workshops
• Access to the official MEPS listerv and newsletters
• Inclusion of your organization on the MEPS website

Annual membership dues are $20 for an Individual Membership or $30 for an Institutional Membership (for two staff members, and $5 for any additional staff). All memberships expire and renew each September.
